Bruno Fernandes played youth football at the Portuguese Boa Vista Football Club’s youth academy. In August 2012, Fernandes moved from Boa Vista Juniors to Serie B Novara to begin his professional career. Fernandes moved to Serie A side Udinese in July 2013 before spending the 2016-17 season on loan at Serie A side Sampdoria. After being bought out by Sampdoria in July 2017, Fernandes moved to Portuguese Super Sports Portuguese Football Club. He was named the player of the Portuguese Super League for two consecutive seasons in 2017-18 and 2018-19. In January 2020, Fernandes moved to Manchester United Football Club of the English Premier League.
